The duskwing and the missing potato pods
One night, Maggie the shiny pod came running to the duskwings favorite place to fly around, crying. Ms. Dusk, the shiny duskwing, flew to Maggie, to see what was wrong. "Whats wrong my dear? Why are you all the way over here? And why are you crying?" Asked Ms. Dusk, her heart feeling sad for Maggie. "Some of my friends are missing, Ms. Dusk! And I can't find them anywhere! And it's almost time for us to be announced to all of the Palians!" Cried Maggie, who was visibly stressed. Ms. Dusk knew it was important that all shiny pods were to be present when it was time for the big reveal, or the palians wouldn't learn about them. "I'll help you find your friends, dear Maggie! And I'll make sure to get them home safe before the big reveal! Can you tell me which of your friends are missing?" Asked Ms. Dusk, fluttering around Maggie. "My friends Rainer and Laslo! I haven't seen them since yesterday, when we all decided to get things ready for the big reveal! And I'm worried they're lost, or even hurt!" Said Maggie. "Okay my dear, I'll leave immediately!" Ms. Dusk told Maggie, and she set off on her journey.
She flew around Kilima, looking in every little nook and cranny, looking high and low, even sneaking into the underground, where some silly Palians were catching leafhoppers. Soon, Ms. Dusk made her way to the center of town, where she could hear a faint, small voice. When she got closer, she realized who it was. It was Rainer, who was trapped in Sifuu's lava basin at her forge! "Help! I've gotten stuck, and I can't climb out!" Cried Rainer. Ms. Dusk swooped in, and carried him out. "Thank you so much Ms. Dusk! I wanted to peak in to see if the lava glowed as bright as me, but I slipped in! Thankfully my shiny magical coating made it so I didn't burn!" Explained Rainer. After ensuring Rainer knew just how urgent it was that he returned to the other pods, Ms. Dusk set out to find the next one.
Just as she entered Bahari, she had a strange feeling, telling her to fly to the Elderwood. After she gathered up all of her courage, she entered the spooky gate. Ms. Dusk saw many palians running towards the Deep Woods, and she followed, curious to see the reason for the commotion. When she reached there, she saw many palians working together, popping the shields around the blossoms, watering the bouncy flowers, and catching all of the pretty flowers during the Piksii bounce. As Ms. Dusk was about to fly away, she noticed a little something, or someone, rocking at the top of the tallest elder tree, inside of the visible magic that was creating the piksii bounce. Ms. Dusk flew all the way up, barely taking any breaks, to find Laslo hanging from a tiny branch, blending in perfectly with the magic!
“Laslo dear, how did you get up here?!” Exclaimed Ms. Dusk, who was baffled at how a small potato pod could get up here. “I kept accidentally hitting the bounce flowers Ms. Dusk, and I was flung all the way up here!” So Ms. Dusk helped Laslo down, and helped fly him back to Kilima, since it would take too long for his little legs to run all the way back home. When they reached the field where Maggie first came crying to Ms. Dusk, they found all of the other shiny potato pods, waiting for their return! They all cheered as Ms. Dusk gently dropped Laslo down, thankful she was able to help them find their friends before the big reveal!

Una noche, Maggie, la vaina brillante, llegó corriendo al lugar favorito de las alas del crepúsculo para volar, llorando. La Sra. Dusk, el ala brillante del crepúsculo, voló hacia Maggie para ver qué le pasaba. «¿Qué te pasa, querida? ¿Por qué estás aquí? ¿Y por qué lloras?», preguntó la Sra. Dusk, con el corazón entristecido por Maggie. «¡Algunas de mis amigas han desaparecido, Sra. Voló alrededor de Kilima, buscando en cada rincón y grieta, mirando por todas partes, incluso colándose en el subsuelo, donde algunos tontos palians estaban cazando saltahojas. Pronto, la Sra. Dusk llegó al centro de la ciudad, donde pudo oír una voz débil y pequeña. Cuando se acercó, se dio cuenta de quién era. Era Rainer, que estaba atrapado en la cuenca de lava de Sifuu en su forja. «¡Ayuda! ¡Me he quedado atascado y no puedo salir!», gritó Rainer. La Sra. Dusk se abalanzó sobre él y lo sacó. «¡Muchas gracias, Sra. Dusk! Quería asomarme para ver si la lava brillaba tanto como yo, ¡pero resbalé y caí dentro! Cuando la Sra. Dusk estaba a punto de alejarse volando, se fijó en algo, o alguien, que se balanceaba en lo alto del árbol más alto, dentro de la magia visible que creaba el rebote piksii. La Sra. Dusk voló hasta allí, sin apenas descansar, y encontró a Laslo colgado de una pequeña rama, ¡mimetizándose perfectamente con la magia!
«¡Laslo, querido, ¿cómo has llegado hasta aquí?», exclamó la señora Dusk, desconcertada por cómo una pequeña vaina de patata había podido llegar hasta allí. «¡No paraba de golpear accidentalmente las flores rebotadoras, señora Dusk, y me lanzaron hasta aquí!». Así que la señora Dusk ayudó a Laslo a bajar y lo llevó de vuelta a Kilima, ya que le habría llevado demasiado tiempo volver a casa corriendo con sus pequeñas piernas. Cuando llegaron al campo donde Maggie había acudido llorando a la Sra. Dusk, encontraron todas las demás vainas de patata brillantes, ¡esperando su regreso! Todos vitorearon cuando la Sra.
