Title: Original Legend: The Monk of Plaza Baralt (Maracaibo, Venezuela)

The Ghost of Kilima Square:
A faceless Franciscan monk, cloaked in a dark hooded habit.
He appears in Kilima Square and its surroundings (formerly “The Convent Courtyard”) during the early hours of the morning, when the town sleeps.
It is said that his soul is bound by a tragedy or a secret—a broken promise or unbearable guilt—that prevents him from finding peace. You can hear the mournful dragging of a rosary across the ground…
The spirit of a friar condemned to eternal penance, silently watching over his former convent, with only the sound of his prayer beads echoing through the night.
