\u200bIn the emerald valley of Greenhaven, a herd of dairy cows boasted coats of deep, rich chocolate-brown. Their farmer, Mr. Hemlock loved how they blended perfectly with the dark soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u200bOne midsummer night, a strange event occurred. A brilliant, shimmering aurora borealis, far brighter than normal, pulsed directly overhead. Its light wasn’t the usual green or pink; it was an intense, ethereal silvery-white, washing over the pasture like liquid moonlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u200bThe cows stood mesmerized, absorbing the bizarre glow. The light pulsed for hours before fading at dawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u200bThat morning, when Mr. Hemlock arrived to milk them, he dropped his bucket to the ground with a loud clang. The entire herd was transformed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Their brown coats were gone, replaced by a startling, pristine white, as if dusted head-to-hoof with powdered moonlight.
Shocked, the farmer rushed back to the barn to fetch his wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u200b”They’re ghost cows, Martha!” he exclaimed to his wife.
\u200bMrs. Hemlock, however, smiled. “They’re magnificent, Silas! That strange light must have caused a lunar bleaching!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u200bThe White Herd of Greenhaven became a local wonder. Though scientists visited, the cows remained a beautiful anomaly, often mistaken for statues by passing travelers, especially on foggy mornings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The herd however, simply grazed on, enjoying their dazzling new look, forever marked by the night sky that painted them in its own shimmering light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
